The Moks tribe is one shrouded by mystery, one that works from the shadows while being in plain sight. No one knows where they're located, nor what their plans are.Hakkar was born in the Moks tribe as a part of a special project, the goal being invading the Olkund tribe. He was one of the men specifically born for this task and so he was born with a size much bigger than the regular size for a Xaela.While he was being raised he was trained in all kinds of things ; combat, deception, charisma, the customs of the many tribes and how to adapt to situations.Upon reaching the proper age he was send to infiltrate the Olkund tribe and for a long time everything went well. No one suspected a thing and he send all the information he got right back to the Moks tribe.He took out those who suspected anything, made them disappear without a trace, until one day he got caught sending intel.They cursed him with a curse than changed to color of his scales so he'd always be recognizable, the crimson color representing the blood of the innocent people he has slain to keep his secret, and they left him in the wilds to die.He found his way back to the Moks tribe who were dumbstruck by the color of his scales, but they came up with another mission for him ; Leave the steppes and gather intel for them there.

  POST-YAKUZA ARK.  After he ran off he got captured by a shady ishgardian noble who had had his eye on Hakkar for a while. He wanted him for himself as a toy, but Hakkar refused to bow to him. He had unspeakable things done to Hakkar in an effort to break him, he prayed and pleaded to the duskmother to save him, but she never answered his calls.. But someone else did.Karash, the Xaelic god of rage, answered, offering him a piece of his power, demanding Hakkar would bind himself to him for eternity in return. Hakkar took the deal and with this new might Hakkar escaped, leaving a bloodbath behind.After joining a small time crime group for a while he decided this wasn't what he was looking for, he longed for order, for his old life back, and he got contacted by the esteemed oyabun Lunae once more.

  YAKUZA ARK.  He had been prepared for life outside the steppes and blended in perfectly. He learned the languages and most of the customs, he knows how to wear a mask and who to talk to.He started picking up side jobs as an information broker and an assassin for some less than savory folks to get by.He learned all about drugs like somnus and moko grass, and started his own moko grass plantation and started gathering raw product for somnus production. Over time he developed his own strains of moko grass which are incredibly strong.To earn more gil he applied and got hired at The Crimson Door and The HarlequinLife as a lone criminal was starting to get too risky for him at the same time, but fate struck again when he was contacted by a man about an Oyabun who had heard about Hakkar, and was interested. Hakkar met up with this crime family and joined them, they are known as the Nisshoku-gumi.His employment at The crimson door ended as the owner decided to close the doors, but he found new employment at the Yozakura Palace near-instantly.
To spice up his life he picked up a job at a leather bar called the eagle dragon leather bar, as well as another job as courtesans at Jigoku .During a sparring competition organized by his Yakuza family a terrible accident happened and Hakkar accidentally killed one of his brothers. He was locked up and got a trial within the Yakuza. His punishment was the removal of one eye and the mutilation of his beloved tail. He took the punishment honorably and swore to rebuild his reputation and bring nothing but honor to the family.However, hakkar had begun to see that there were certain people within the higher ranks that whose intentions were foul, they wished to take power for themselves and when hakkar tried to speak about it, they did not believe it. Feeling betrayed, under appreciated and enraged he ran off.

  PRESENT.  He rejoined the Nisshoku gumi and now resides in the temple. Putting in the works he got promoted to the rank of Kyodai.Inspired by how he got saved by Karash he found the perfect place to turn into a place of worship ; a nearby cave labyrinth. He turned it into a temple dedicated to him complete with a room of worship! In this temple he feels closest to Karash, he also finds peace there.He also got promoted to manager at venue called Rush

  NAME.   Yomi Gami

Hakkar met this man through Lilithian, the two get along pretty well even though Hakkar thinks his lack of steppe traditionalism is a little weird. Through Hakkar Yomi met his partner, Kitashi, a long time friend of Hakkar's. He sees the good in the man and is very happy to see how happy Kitashi and him have become together.

  NAME.   Lilith Kha

The owner of Rush, Hakkar and him are in separatable, they're often seen flirting, joking and and just enjoying each other's companies. It's almost as if the two are married. He has taught Hakkar a lot and the two care deeply for one another. Hakkar wouldn't be where he is without this man.

  NAME.   Lord Aeomere and Lord Azrathiel Chronis

The dukes of the esteemed house Chronis and very close friends to Hakkar. When he first met them he tried to rob them, but they found that they had common interests, this caused them to form a friendship, one that grew strong over time. Hakkar visits them often and trusts them, if he needs guidance or help he's likely to go to them. Hakkar has known them for a long time and they are very important to him. Azrathiel especially has become close to hakkar, the two seem to share some kind of a intimate relationship.

  NAME.   Kitashi Sasaki

When these two met Hakkar was at one of the lowest points in his life, he was drugged up, drunk and would've overdosed if it wasn't for Kitashi. Kitashi offered him kindness and listened to him, he calmed the pain in his heart when he needed it most. Over time the two have become extremely close friends to the point they consider each other family. Through Hakkar Kitashi met his current boyfriend ; Yomi.

  NAME.   Eyja Thatcher

One of his higher up's within his Yakuza family, Hakkar saw Eyja as a friend and someone he respects greatly, gifting her traditional steppe gifts for her wedding, but after the sparring event incident she carried part of his punishment out ; the mutilation of his tail. Now, Hakkar fears her greatly and attempts to avoid her, he swears he feels pain every time she looks at his tail. She left the family shortly after he did, he still feels fond about her despite their ways parting. After rejoining the Yakuza hakkar still misses her a lot, she leaves a hole no one can really fill.

  NAME.   Riona 'Rin' Sk'adi

A fellow Nisshoku-gumi member and a dear friend, Hakkar and her got along from the get-go and they often joke around together. She has asked Hakkar to teach her all about the steppe, and Hakkar happily agreed! He sometimes turns to her with his problems, and usually she tries to help. (If the problems aren't too stupid that is.) Riona left the family to focus on her own family, Hakkar remembers her fondly.

  NAME.   Lun Vara

A close friend of Hakkar's, the two are quite the unlikely pair considering Lun is on the complete other side of the law. This hasn't stopped them from bonding and enjoying each other's company though. Hakkar believes there's a lot he could learn from Lun as well as teach the man.

  NAME.   Shirokei Kha

Shirokei is Hakkar's friend and Dolgoon's husband. The two met when Hakkar tried to rob Dolgoon and him, but Aeomere and Azrathiel showed up which caused Hakkar to back down. While Dolgoon has forgiven Hakkar, Shirokei is less trusting and is still wary of him. The two aren't close friends by any means, and Shirokei doesn't trust Hakkar yet, but they're on the right path.

  NAME.   Dolgoon Khatayn

Hakkar met him in Ul'dah when he tried to rob him, Dolgoon stood his ground and when Azrathiel and Aeomere Chronis showed up Hakkar immediately backed down. Dolgoon thought Hakkar was a complete asshole after that, but after meeting again and again the two have become friends. Dolgoon has given Hakkar the benefit of the doubt and no longer judges him for trying to rob him.

  NAME.   Allura Angura

Allura and Hakkar met after he rejoined the Nisshoku Gumi, at first the two kind of didn't seem to interact, but once they did they found out they got along quite well. A beautiful blooming friendship sprouted from there and Hakkar does consider her a friend nowadays.

  NAME.   Jenka Reno

Hakkar has met him through a mission he was on, where Jenka caught a glimpse of his power and his terrible other side. Jenka caught another glimpse of said monster during the sparring event incident and has attempted to cut Hakkar down. After the trial he was pleased with the punishment, but he swore he'd hunt Hakkar down if he ever catches even the slightest glimpse of his other side again. After Hakkar left the family he has not seen Jenka anymore, though he doesn't doubt Jenka would hunt him down should he hear about hakkar's other side again.

  NAME.   Kahlua Sylvi'ga

The current head of his department within his Yakuza family, Hakkar disliked her from the very start, however, the two managed to find common ground after a heart to heart, but after the sparring event incident she, too, got reprimanded for what happened, which made her have a distasteful image of him once more. The two had gotten on better terms and saw eye to eye, there was even a blossoming friendship, however, after Hakkar left Kahlua stepped down from her role as head of said department. He still respects her to this day.

  NAME.   Rosa Kuran

At first Hakkar didn't know what to think about Rosa, she always seemed to have her head in the clouds, but over time he has begun to appreciate her. He suspects she has some kinks in her brain, but who doesn't? He also appreciates how she never cries when she gets injured! He definitely considers her a friend!

  NAME.   S'honji Silvertongue

One of Hakkar's higher-up's within the Nisshoku-gumi and a friend of his. The two were friends before S'honji got promoted and now Hakkar doesn't always know how to interact with thim. Both love working out, and S'honji seems to have a soft spot for Hakkar somewhere, during his trial he was one of the people who was against Hakkar getting executed. After leaving the Yakuza Hakkar still misses S'honji, he has heard about his promotion and couldn't think of a better man for said role.

  NAME.   Ra'mele Xov

One of Hakkar's higher-up's within the Nisshoku-gumi and a friend of his. The two met when she joined and they have sparred before, appreciating each other's strength they got along instantly! Hakkar knows he can rely on Mele and she knows she can rely on him any time. They're both eagerly waiting on a rematch as well.After she left the Nisshoku gumi Hakkar hasn't really seen or heard from her anymore, but he doesn't feel any negative feelings towards her.

  NAME.   Timori Hatsugama

Timori, or as Hakkar knows him, Yuin used to be Hakkar's lover in a past life before he was snatched away by fate. Hakkar looked all over for the man but couldn't find him. He never understood what happened or why Yuin would abandon him until he recently met Timori, the reborn form of Yuin. He explain what had happened and that this is his reborn form. Hakkar forgave him, admitting that he could still feel his heart skipping a beat when he looked him in the eyes. Reconnecting with him has helped his heart heal and he looks forward to hanging out with him again, though his new form does take some getting use to.

  NAME.   Skirne Agapios

A friend Hakkar made in the Nisshoku-gumi, Hakkar gets along with this man and they often laugh together, he appreciates his kindness and his wisdom both. Skirne has always been there for Hakkar, the two have become fond of each other and Hakkar would go out of his way to protect him. He left after Hakkar left the Nisshoku gumi, they kind of lost contact after that.

  NAME.   Rory Reynolds

The brilliant technician who build Hakkar's heated rock, she has been an incredible help to him. When his tail got cut off she was able to make a walker for him, she even designed a fake tail for him, but he had to decline at the last minute so he could learn how to walk on his own. He still greatly appreciates her efforts and absolutely considers her a friend, he would not forget all the things she has done for him

  NAME.   Cidre Salix

Another Nisshoku-gumi related friend of Hakkar, one that isn't afraid to tell Hakkar things straight up, a trait he very much respects and appreciates in a man. Cidre has offered to help Hakkar out several times in the past, his usefulness has contributed to Hakkar seeing him as a friend. He kept a deep and dark secret of Hakkar, one that could have had very dire consequences which lead to Hakkar trusting him completely. During a mission within the Yakuza a terrible accident happened and Cidre passed away. Hakkar tried everything to save him but it was without use, he honored him during his funeral and remembers him fondly.

  NAME.   O'kameko

At first Hakkar didn't understand or trust this bizarre person, but slowly he allowed himself to open up and he begun to see her for who she was and the two became friends. He hopes to learn more about her as he finds her very interesting, though he can sense she is quite guarded as well.

  NAME.   Turranos pyr Canis

Turranos hails from a family who was known for training pugnax, this has led to him understanding people who are more instinctual at times and thus it has lead to him knowing how to handle and get along with Hakkar. It confuses Hakkar greatly that this man seems to 'understand' and know exactly how to react to gain the upper hand at times, but it has also lead to Hakkar gaining a great deal of respect for him. He sees him as a good friend and a higher up he deeply respects.

  NAME.   Val'saran Kagon

The one he considers to be his sister. Hakkar and Val'saran got along from the get go, she is his steppe away from home and they agree on almost everything.
He has a lot of respect for her as high priestess of the Kagon tribe, and he likes teasing others with her.

  NAME.   Bengal Pantera

Hakkar has known Bengal for a very long time, the two enjoy sparring together, and she has seen his other side as well. She understands Hakkar's way of thinking a lot better than most people do which has led to the two becoming close friends. Hakkar has also helped her with hair products, but this is a little known secret shared between the two.

  NAME.   Kotoro Yatsugiri

A brother within the Nisshoku-gumi, one Hakkar doesn't particularly like, he thinks he's kind of an asshole, but he does see some of himself in him. The two sometimes bicker, though that has grown a lot less frequent after Hakkar's trial, he still thinks he's kind of an asshole though. After Hakkar left the crime family he still thinks Kotori is kind of an asshole. Ever since Hakkar rejoined Kotori has changed a lot, except that he's still an asshole. Hakkar appreciates him more though.

  NAME.   Lady Lunae Lux

Hakkar's Oyabun, he had caught her eye through his many crimes and she send someone to seek him out. She invited him to join the Nisshoku-gumi and Hakkar accepted, over time he started to show his loyalty and got invited to take part in a sake ceremony, meaning he joined officially. Lunae has always treated Hakkar with respect, and he respects her greatly in return, he is loyal to a fault and he wouldn't hesitate to follow her commands.

  NAME.   Guanina "Hoja" Guabancex

A tanuki Hakkar met in the Nisshoku gumi. Hakkar found her to be pretty silly when he met her, but over time he warmed up to her. They became good friends when Hakkar noticed how she was suffering when something vital was taken from her, he tried to mitigate it the best he could, but sadly it turned out the Yakuza life was not for her. They still kept in contact after her leaving the yakuza and are close friends to this day!

  NAME.   Caedis Tenebrae

They met by Caedis stabbing him multiple times out of no where which left a bad impression. The reason she stabbed him is because they are both moko grass dealers. An eternal battle was born ; who has the best moko grass? Who is the most supreme stoner? Only time will tell.
